Why it matters

Websites your team will actually enjoy running

We build on the Site Editor and modern WordPress APIs — no page-builder lock-in, no bloated frameworks. The result is a site that is fast on day one and still easy to change years later.

Fast by default

Performance budgets, lean assets and caching designed in from the first commit.

Editor-friendly

Patterns, locked layouts and global styles so content teams move quickly and safely.

Secure & maintainable

WordPress coding standards, code review and automated tests on every change.

Overview

Custom WordPress development without the technical debt

  1. 01

    The challenge

Most WordPress sites don’t fail at launch — they fail two years later, when a theme framework is abandoned, a page builder slows every page and nobody wants to touch the code. We build the other way round: on WordPress core, the block editor and the Site Editor, using theme.json, block patterns and the REST and Interactivity APIs instead of heavy third-party frameworks.

  2. 02

    Our approach

That foundation matters. WordPress runs around four in ten websites, yet fewer than half of WordPress sites pass Google’s Core Web Vitals on mobile. Performance budgets, accessible components and the WordPress coding standards are part of our definition of done, so the site you launch is fast for visitors and predictable for the people who maintain it.

  3. 03

    What you get

Every engagement ends with code in your repository, documentation your team can follow and editors who know how to use the patterns we built for them. Whether you need a new marketing site, a custom plugin, a WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads store, or WordPress as a headless content API, senior engineers stay with you from discovery to launch.

Is this you?

A good fit if…

Recognise two or more of these? A 30-minute call is usually enough to map the next step.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do you build with page builders?

We build with the native block editor and Site Editor. It is faster, more stable across WordPress updates and avoids long-term lock-in.

Can you work with our existing design?

Yes. We regularly implement designs from in-house teams and agencies, from Figma files to full design systems.

Who owns the code?

You do. Everything is delivered in your repository under the GPL, documented and ready for any team to maintain.

How long does a typical build take?

Most marketing sites take 6–12 weeks; larger platforms are planned in phases so value ships early.

What does a custom WordPress build cost?

It depends on scope, integrations and content volume. After a short discovery call we send a fixed-price proposal for well-defined scopes, or a sprint-based estimate for evolving products — never an open-ended bill.

Do you build headless WordPress sites?

Yes, using the WordPress REST API or WPGraphQL with front ends such as Next.js. We recommend headless only when it brings a real benefit, like multi-channel publishing, because a well-built block theme is usually faster to ship and cheaper to run.
